0845----> Madrasah Aljunied Al-Islamiah
We gathered at school early in the morning. The mentors were already there when we arrived. After that, we were explained briefly about the race. Then, we got into our groups and....
Surprisingly, we did not get to choose our own teammates. Unfortunately, both of us, Hakeem and Khairul, were not fated to be in one group. Hakeem's group is called Umar Bin Abdul Aziz while Khairul's group is called Zheng Khe.

.
We then started to develop a feeling of challenging each other.
STARTING POINT----> M.A.A.'s Hall.
TIME----> 1000
Task----> To name the names of 3 caliphs after the 4 major caliphs.
The task was quite a challenging one. We had to remember what we had learnt the past years. After 10-15 minutes, my group was the first to name the caliphs correctly. I was one step ahead than Khairul's group.
A few minutes after Hakeem's group proceed, my team and I managed to give the correct answer. The station master gave us the clue for the next station and we quickly rushed there. By that time, most group were already heading to the next station.
1045----> Marang Trail
The destination that we were asked to head out to was the long Marang Trail.
My team and I reached the designated station first. When we arrived, we were instructed by brother Walid to climb up the trail until the end of the it. Unfortunately, some groups managed to overtake us throughout the journey. Firstly, some of them know how to get to the Marang Trail faster by different transportation. Secondly, one of my teammates fell sick during our way to the end of the trail(Mount Faber Park). We had to wait for the aid team to arrive.
Even though my team was not the first to arrive, we still did not give up hope. One of the teams that overtook Hakeem's team was my team. The journey to the top was very exhausting but still we managed to climb all the way. The top of Marang Trail lays the 1st station.
1100----> Mount Faber Park
1st STATION----> Mount Faber Park.
TIME----> 1100
TIME----> 1100
TASK----> To finish a crossword puzzle within 10 minutes.
The scenery at the top of the trail was very beautiful. It was really a hot day. We were sweating a lot when we reached the 1st station. At this station, we were tested on our general knowledge. The crossword puzzle was about history of Islamic scholars and other great people of the past. We were only given 10 minutes to complete the puzzle. Only after 8 minutes have past then the facilitators could help us. Thanks to our facilitator, kak Hafeezah, we managed to answer most of them. We were then given the clue to the 2nd station that was at Henderson wave.
We were pushed from a respected position-first-to the last position. But we were told that the winner was not the one to arrive first but the one to have the highest points. So at the 1st station, we tried to complete the puzzle. Unfortunately even with the help of our facilitator, we did not managed to solve it. Still we did not give hope and proceed to the 2nd station.
1145----> Henderson Waves
After a long walk, we finally arrived at the next station, HENDERSON WAVE !! The scenery was very stunning.
But grey clouds started covering the shiny sun.
Time----> 1145
Task----> Guess a 5-letter word which is link to knowledge.
After going up and down, we arrived at the 274 km long bridge, Henderson Waves. The 2nd checkpoint lies at the other end of the bridge. The task given was damn difficult. We were to guess a 5-letter word, which is related to knowledge. We were given 10 minutes and 10 trials. My team managed to guess it correctly. The word is an Arabic word that is Qalam, which means a pen in English. Alhamdulillah, from last position, we moved up to 8th position. But still it does not matter. We were then given a clue for the 3rd station.
It was a long journey towards the 2nd station, Henderson Waves. We were quite glad when we reached there. The scenery there was spectacular. Without wasting time we took out our camera and took picture of ourselves as a memoir. Then we proceed to the 2nd station. There were whole bunch teams when we reached there. The task was hard but thanks to the other teams who were there we managed to solve it. I overheard them shouting the answer. We then proceed to the next station, Terrace Garden.
1215----> Terrace Garden
3rd STATION----> Terrace Garden
Time----> 1215
Tasks----> 1)Name the continents.
2)Name the countries.
3)Name the capitals.
We descended a hill and walked a few more meters. Before reaching our destination, we rest for a while under a shelter. We continued walking and set foot on the next station, Terrace Garden. Even though we finished the challenge last, we did not leave any blanks on the answer sheet.
When we reached the 3rd station, Terrace Garden, we were quite shocked to see more stairs. We had been climbing up stairs since the race started. This time the challenge was divided into 3 parts. We need to name the continent, countries and capital of countries. All of the team members were required to answer the question. We were given a map for the challenge.This was the station where by most teams got stucked. It took us quite a while to complete it. But alhamdulliah we managed to solve it. Then we quickly rushed to the 4th station, Hort Park.

1400----> On our way to the last station
When we were leaving terrace garden, we could not see the sun anymore. All there was in the sky was grey dull clouds. To get to the next station, we have to cross a long metal bridge. While crossing it, downpour started just as we expected. We have to get to shelter. So we quickly ran in the rain. Finally, after running so far, we found a shelter and waited there for almost half an hour. At that time, we already knew that we lost the race. But we remembered about our project that teacher Azam instructed us to complete it. So we decided to end the race. After the rain stopped, we continued walking towards the last station.
